DAY 1: RECEPTION AT PORT OF COLONIA DEL SACRAMENTO AND TRANSFER TO HOTEL WITH GUIDE
Discover the charm of Colonia del Sacramento, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on a private walking tour with a local guide. Founded by the Portuguese and later contested by Spain, the city preserves its fascinating colonial past. Stroll through cobblestone streets, visit landmarks like the Portón de Campo, Calle de los Suspiros, Matriz Church, and scenic squares. Enjoy a mate tasting experience and explore local museums.

DAY 2: BODEGA EL QUINTON
Begin the day with a visit to Bodega El Quinton to explore its vineyards and olive groves, followed by tastings of fine wines and olive oils. Continue to La Vigna Cheese Farm, where owners Agustin and Lucila, advocates of sustainability and organic production, share their craft. Learn about cheese-making from the “Cheese Architect” and sample unique, locally produced varieties. An optional cheese-tasting lunch is available.

DAY 3: CARMELO
At sunset, enjoy an unforgettable experience: Rio de la Plata Sunset Cruise (1.5 Hours service approx.) Enjoy a relaxing tour through the islands of the Delta, where the waters of Río de la Plata and Rio Uruguay meet; this spot is considered to be “kilometer 0” of both rivers. The experience begins just before sunset at the secluded marina of Club del Faro where we will board a classic boat guided by our captain. Discover the legends of the Uruguayan coasts and its shipwrecks and toast to an amazing sunset!

DAY 4: CALERA LAS HUÉRFANAS
Visit La Calera de las Huérfanas National Monument, where Jesuits founded the first buildings in 1741, marking the origins of Uruguay’s wine production. Continue to two wineries in the Carmelo region: Bodega El Legado, a family-run estate producing exclusive wines with a unique free-growing vine system, and Bodega Cordano, a fifth-generation winery featuring the historic “Almacén de la Capilla.” Enjoy guided tours, wine tastings with local delicacies, and a homemade lunch.
