DAY 1: COLONIA DEL SACRAMENTO
Arrive in Colonia del Sacramento and meet your guide at the port for a private half-day walking tour. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage city, founded by the Portuguese and once contested by Spain. Stroll through its cobbled streets, see the old city gate, Calle de los Suspiros, charming squares, and the historic Iglesia Matriz. Enjoy a traditional Uruguayan mate tasting and learn about this beloved national drink. Overnight stay in Colonia.

DAY 2: MONTEVIDEO
Transfer to Montevideo and enjoy lunch at the lively Port Market filled with traditional Asado grills. Then, meet your guide for a walking tour of the Old City, visiting landmarks like Independence Square, Palacio Salvo, the President’s office, and Artigas’ mausoleum. Stroll along Sarandi Street and Matriz Square with its cathedral and Cabildo. Visit two museums of your choice, then experience Uruguayan culture at Lobo Nuñez’s studio, discovering the rhythms and history of Afro-Uruguayan Candombe music.

DAY 3: MONTEVIDEO
Meet your local guide for a city tour through Montevideo’s neighborhoods, developed after the Old City Walls were demolished in 1829. Explore the “New City” with its wide, tree-lined streets and elegant architecture. From Plaza Independencia, admire the mix of styles, then continue along 18 de Julio Avenue to Plaza Fabini and its famous Belloni sculpture. See the impressive Palacio Legislativo, green parks, monuments like Monumento a la Carreta, and residential areas such as Carrasco and Punta Gorda.

DAY 4: PUNTA DEL ESTE
Transfer from Montevideo to Punta del Este, stopping at Olivos de las Ánimas, beautiful olive plantations at the foothills of Cerro de las Ánimas. Enjoy the stunning scenery where hills meet plains and discover Uruguay’s passion for producing exceptional extra virgin olive oil. Learn about the production process, enjoy a tasting, and savor a private lunch hosted by the owner, Martin. Spot local wildlife like colorful cardinals and American rheas before continuing your journey to Punta del Este.

DAY 5: PUNTA DEL ESTE
Meet your guide for a Tour of Punta del Este with visit to MACA Museum of Contemporary Art. Panoramic tour of Punta Del Este with visit to the lively La Barra where we will cross the famous undulated bridge just before arriving to the Brava Beach of Punta del Este. Visit the most important attractions: “Juan Gorlero Avenue”, the yacht’s port, the residential areas and the lovely Casapueblo, a strange and attractive construction designed by the renowned Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró where we will visit his museum. Afterwards visit the Atchugarry Foundation of the Uruguayan sculptor Pablo Atchugarry located in Manantiales.

DAY 6: PUNTA DEL ESTE
Day at leisure - we suggest visiting one of the local wineries to discover the Oceanic tannats of this region! Accommodation at Punta del Este

DAY 7: PUNTA DEL ESTE
After breakfast, transfer back to Montevideo’s Airport/Port
