DAY 1: ARRIVAL BOGOTA

DAY 2: WALKING TOUR
This captivating half-day walking tour offers a swift yet immersive journey into the vibrant heart of Bogotá. Travelers delve into the historical tapestry of La Candelaria, beginning their exploration at the iconic Bolívar Square, surrounded by architectural marvels and tales of Colombia's past.

Bogota
A visit to the charming Chorro de Quevedo provides a glimpse into the city's origins and a lively atmosphere. Depending on the day, guests will choose between the impressive artistry of the Botero Museum or the glittering ancient treasures of the Gold Museum, each offering unique insights into Colombian culture. The experience is further enriched by a delightful typical local snack, allowing participants to savor authentic flavors amidst their discoveries.

DAY 3: ARRIVAL VILLA DE LEYVA (Colonial & Fossil Trails)
Following the walking tour, you will be transferred by a Spanish-speaking driver to Villa de Leyva (approx. 3 hours).

Journey to the captivating colonial town of Villa de Leyva, a place where time seems to stand still amidst its remarkably preserved 17th-century architecture. Wander across its immense cobblestone plaza, one of the largest in South America, surrounded by white washed buildings with their characteristic green trim.

San Agustin
Explore the town's historic churches, charming artisan shops, and fascinating museums that whisper tales of Colombia's past. Discover the surrounding natural wonders, from the otherworldly Pozos Azules (Blue Wells) to the paleontological site of El Fósil. While offering a sense of understated elegance rather than ostentatious luxury, Villa de Leyva provides a tranquil escape into history and beauty, a place to soak in the colonial ambiance and explore the unique landscapes of the region.

San Agustin
Embark on a delightful full-day journey to Villa de Leyva, a charming colonial gem renowned for its pristine white facades, red-tiled roofs, and expansive cobblestone main square. Stroll through its picturesque alleys as your English-speaking guide shares captivating tales of the town's rich history. Beyond its beauty, explore the fascinating surrounding area.

Fossil
Discover ancient secrets at El Fósil Museum, home to a massive dinosaur skeleton, and visit the intriguing archaeological site of El Infiernito. Marvel at the surreal Pozos Azules and the unique Terracotta House. A stop at the historic Monasterio Santo Ecce Homo completes this immersive experience.

Plaza
After the activity we can include a transfer back to Bogotá o continue the trip to Barichara.
